Federal Expungements

When individuals convicted of a federal crime in New York or New Jersey wish to expunge or seal their records, they find that this mechanism is permitted under very limited circumstances. For example, drug crimes, juvenile crimes, and cases where they were arrested, the crime comes up on records checks but there was no conviction. A federal expungement here would be possible.
